About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer with up to 4-5 years of experience to join our team. You will primarily focus on building and optimizing our frontend applications using React, TypeScript, Chakra UI, and React-Query. While backend experience with Ruby on Rails and Postgres is a plus, your main contributions will be in frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance UI components using React, TypeScript, and Chakra UI.
• Manage state and data fetching efficiently with React-Query.
• Work closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize frontend performance, ensuring smooth and scalable applications.
• Implement best practices for accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the backend team (Ruby on Rails, Postgres) when needed.

Requirements

• Up to 5 years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong expertise in React & TypeScript
• Experience with Chakra UI for building UI components
• Familiarity with React-Query for state management and data fetching
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate with backend services
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team
  

Nice to Have

• Some experience with Ruby on Rails and Postgres
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing for frontend applications
• Experience working in Agile development environments
