About the role

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Next.js Developer at Makai Labs. The Senior Next.js Developer will be responsible for front-end web development. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years using Next.js.

• Solid experience working from a fully remote position.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.

• Relevant experience with using Tailwind/Material Ul/Joy UI

• Familiarity with RESTful APls and modern authorization mechanisms.

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using Next.js.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

• Write robust, clean, and documented code.

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications.

• Conduct performance tests and ensure responsiveness and stability across all platforms.
