What you will do:
The SSO Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring secure and seamless user authentication experiences by integrating various identity providers with the company’s SSO solutions, particularly Okta. The SSO Integration Engineer plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency through automation and ensuring high availability and security of the authentication systems.
- Design, implement, and manage SSO integrations, focusing on Okta, to ensure secure and efficient authentication for all internal and external applications.
- Work closely with IT teams to integrate various identity providers with the SSO system, ensuring compatibility and secure communication.
- Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers to integrate and maintain SSO solutions, ensuring compatibility, security, and alignment with organizational requirements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline the management and operation of SSO integrations, reducing manual intervention and ensuring consistency.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration guides, system architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Provide training and knowledge sharing with other IT team members to ensure a clear understanding of SSO processes.
- Keep current with emerging SSO technologies and security standards to drive continuous improvement and ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and secure.

How you will grab our attention:
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline and/or 3+ years professional IT experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SSO solutions, particularly with Okta.
- In-depth knowledge of SSO protocols and standards, such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OpenID, including expertise in configuring and managing OpenID scopes and claims for user authorization and identity data.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating SSO processes.
- Experience integrating SSO with identity providers (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of web application security, including encryption, MFA, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and process management skills, with a proven ability to manage priorities and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of creativity and problem-solving ability for troubleshooting and optimizing SSO solutions.
- Industry certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, CISSP, or AWS Certified Security specialty are highly desirable.
