About the job

• We are looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer that will help us improve our product and expand our customer base

• This role is a remote role based in Colombia. Both English and Spanish communication skills are required.  Interviews will be conducted partially in both languages.

Treble helps businesses make more effective marketing and sales campaigns using Whatsapp to reach out and convert more customers. Software Engineers at Treble evolve our products and infrastructure to support our business needs. Our goal is to make Treble's customers' lives easier with every improvement. What You Will Do

• Works in cross-functional, empowered teams together with designers and product managers to evolve Treble's product. Deeply understand the customers needs and feedback, and use that to build the best possible product.

• Own and find opportunities to optimize and improve our AWS stack, including increasing product reliability and finding more efficient ways to deliver our product to customers.

• Use customer and internal feedback as fuel to understand which improvements should be prioritized.

• Work closely with engineering and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities in our software and infrastructure.

• Bring critical thoughts and opinions, as well as the ability to figure out solutions to ambiguous challenges.

• Debug product issues across services and levels of the stack.
  

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience in the industry.

• Experience as a full stack developer. Python and React are ideal but not mandatory.

• Willingness to explore and learn new technologies.

• Bias for action and collaboration. 

• Solid experience in AWS services, including but not limited to:  EC2, Lambdas (Serverless), RDS (Postgresql), CloudWatch, Redshift 

• Fluency in Spanish (Can hold conversations)

• AWS: EC2, Lambdas, RDS (Postgresql), CloudWatch, Redshift 

• Backend: Python + Serverless

• Frontend: Javascript (React + Redux → Next.js with Typescript)

• Experience building multiple consumer facing products

• Experience in hyper growth stage companies
