About the Role
As a result of growth in a new area of business, we are implementing a change of direction for our existing Voxivo and VoxivoCX products and need additional developers to achieve this.
Our existing Voxivo CX is a cloud contact centre management system which integrates seamlessly with Voxivo.
It was built to increase performance and efficiency of the contact centres through an improved agent experience, a better supervisor control and detailed reporting.
Our new strategy is to focus on integrating with Microsoft Teams.
The core technologies used are Python, Django, Kamailio, Asterisk and Postgresql.
You will work as part of a small team, currently consisting of 3 others, working together to design and implement new features, identify and fix defects, and ensure the ongoing availability of service to customers.
Your Part to Play
As part of the existing team, you will work with the Team Leader and Product Owner to deliver new features, diagnose, investigate and fix defects, and help the Service Desk with customer tickets when needed.
You will also:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
All About you
You must have:
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, preferably in Python.
- Experience working with Git for version control.
- Proficient with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or similar.
- Experience working in virtual environments such as VMware, AWS services, or Azure.
- Experience deploying software using automation tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
Ideally you will also have:
- Basic knowledge of telephony platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio.
