Role Description:
Their client's is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer with a robust understanding of automated and end-to-end (E2E) testing methodologies to join our dynamic team.
Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AQA Engineer, specializing in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL.
- Experience with Pupeteer & playwright.
- Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies, including test planning, design, and execution.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Proven experience in designing and executing E2E testing strategies.
- Experience with API testing is essential.
- Proven experience in testing enterprise-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience with test and task management tools such as Jira and Zephyr Enterprise.
- Fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product owners and development teams to understand business requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality.
- Implement and execute E2E testing strategies to validate entire workflows and user journeys.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of the software, focusing on automation.
- Perform a variety of tests including functional, exploratory, regression, integration, performance, and manual testing as required.
- Analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot the root causes of defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Report and communicate testing progress, results, and defects to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
