Remote software development jobs

Rula is hiringSenior Software Engineer

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

About the Role

As a member of Rula’s Care Access engineering team, you’ll focus on building delightful software solutions that enable patients to find a therapist or psychiatry provider that matches their preferences and accepts their insurance. You will provide technical expertise and lead core contributions to the patient matching and appointment booking product experiences that the Care Access team owns. We constantly experiment with new features to enable patients to connect with the right therapist on their first try.

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working across the stack. Our stack is currently a mixture of Node.js, Typescript, React, Next.js, and Ruby on Rails. If you enjoy working on complex problems, maintaining a high-quality bar while delivering value for our users, and working in a collaborative environment where group success and feedback are prioritized, the Care Access team could be an excellent fit for you.

  • Experience working on time-sensitive projects, balancing multiple stakeholder’s needs

  • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: technical design, planning, execution, and measuring success.

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.
