Our mission is to build the most delightful, full-service banking experience for anyone who wants to bank in their native Spanish. Our goal is to make such an amazing banking experience that people will wish they spoke Spanish so they could bank with us.

Our 1st product was a debit card + checking account that has 100s of thousands of customers. Our 2nd product is the Seis Silver Credit Card, which helps our customers begin to build their credit as soon as they get to the us.

Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience, based in Latin America (LATAM), to join our growing and dynamic team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end features of our web applications, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative products while continuing to develop your technical skills in an agile environment.

This position is ideal for someone with solid experience in full stack development who is eager to take on new challenges and collaborate in a fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services.

  • Work with both front-end (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.) to implement features and functionality.

  • Integrate 3rd party APIs and services into our products.

  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure maintenance, ensuring availability, scalability, and performance.

  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated deployment processes.

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and senior engineering teams to deliver key product features.

  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain code quality and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in full stack development, with hands-on exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).

  • Experience integrating systems with 3rd party APIs and services.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and understanding of software development workflows.

  • Proficient in conversational English to collaborate effectively.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive attitude toward problem-solving and improving coding practices.

  • Must be based in Latin America (LATAM) to align with time zones and team collaboration.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
