As a QA Automation Engineer at Resola Inc, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's software products. Leveraging your expertise in automation testing, you will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and report and track defects to ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and UI/UX designers.

Note: this is a contractor remote position for engineers from Vietnam, English communication is required given our international team work and collaborate primary in English.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using various automation tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create test cases that cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the software.
  • Monitor and track defects throughout the testing process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested functionalities have not been adversely affected by new changes.
  • Collaborate with software developers to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to enhance the overall quality and performance of the software products.
  • Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a robust and reliable test automation framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automated testing, with a strong understanding of various automation tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in automation testing, such as Javascript, Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with API testing tools and technologies such as Postman.
  • Experience working with Security testing tools and technologies such as ZAP or Burp.
