Your Impact
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer to join our growing R&D Team. This position will be under an Employer of Record (EoR) agreement. In this role, you will:
  • Own the technical delivery and evolution of the Acre Identity products and platforms, ensuring quality, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Deliver robust and maintainable code using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET MVC, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server).
  • Champion engineering standards, scalability, and security practices within the team.
  • Drive innovation and mentor team members through design reviews and technical guidance.

What You’ll Do
  • Architect and implement reliable, performant services and integrations.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical issues.
  • Document and communicate architectural decisions and development guidelines.
  • Support DevOps and QA teams in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release readiness.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align priorities.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers across levels.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and test automation.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.
  • Awareness of secure development principles and common vulnerabilities, with a willingness to support remediation of issues identified through vulnerability scans/testing.

Bonus points if you bring:
  • Experience with Windows Services and DLL-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of Azure-based deployments and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Familiarity with physical access systems and security-related platforms.
