Atolio is hiringSenior Deployment Engineer

Title: Deployment Engineer
Location: Remote USA or CAD. Must be on the EST timezone
Employment Type: Full-time

About Us:
At Atolio, we’re on a mission to make organizational knowledge instantly accessible regardless of which app, service, or platform it lives in. We’re a early series startup combining cutting-edge machine learning and AI to solve some of the most complex challenges in enterprise search: indexing, retrieval, and scaling across multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). We use Go (Golang) for our core services, but you’ll work across a diverse toolset to ensure our platform is deployed, configured, and operating reliably in customer environments.

The Role:
As a Deployment Engineer, you’ll serve as a key link between our engineering and customer success teams. You’ll ensure that Atolio’s enterprise search platform is deployed smoothly, securely, and efficiently in a variety of environments. You’ll take ownership of the full deployment lifecycle, including environment setup, infrastructure provisioning, configuration, integration, and monitoring. Your work will play a vital role in driving customer adoption and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead customer specific deployments and onboarding of Atolio’s platform in cloud native or hybrid environments

  • Design and implement deployment processes focused on scalability, security, and reliability

  • Integrate Atolio with a range of enterprise systems (e.g., document repositories, ticketing systems, code repositories)

  • Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize deployment pipelines and system performance

  • Build automation scripts and tooling to streamline operations and minimize manual tasks

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in collaboration with customers

  • Maintain accurate deployment documentation and promote best practices for internal and external use

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in a deployment, DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering role

  • Deep experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Strong background in containerization, especially with Kubernetes

  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm

  • Knowledge of secure networking, identity management (e.g., SAML, OIDC), and API integrations

  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Okta, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Salesforce

  • Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog

  • Programming experience in at least one language (Go, Python, or similar); familiarity with Golang is a plus

  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and clear, empathetic communication with external stakeholders

  • A mindset focused on automation, repeatability, and scalable solutions

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience deploying on-premises enterprise solutions

  • Background in search, data pipelines, or large-scale distributed systems

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Make an impact from day one—your work will directly support customer success

  • Autonomy and ownership—we empower you to make key technical and operational decisions

  • Flexible hours and remote-friendly culture—work in a way that fits your life

  • Transparent founders and mission-driven team—help build meaningful technology with real-world impact

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and early-stage equity

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Home office stipend

  • Flexible PTO policy
