Position Overview:
Blue Orange is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our talented multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things data analytics, modern data practices, and patterns. The ideal candidate will be well versed in SQL and modern data analysis technologies, understand how to drive the extraction of business requirements for data transformations, assess data quality, and have great communications skills. This candidate will work with our clients directly to help design, build, scale, and maintain production data validation systems and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team and stakeholders to define data source, accuracy, and validation requirements.
- Inform and assist in building, and maintaining data ingestions, data models, orchestrations, transformations, validation tests, visualizations, reports, etc.
- Work with source data systems to extract, analyze, and model.
- Work with technical and business teams to evolve the data architecture.
- Work within an Agile environment to constantly deliver value for our clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with exposure to ETL processes, data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouses, pipelines, modeling, and data quality validation.
- Expert experience with data exploration and modeling as well as conformance/compliance validation.
- Expert-level skills in SQL, statistical analysis, data validation, and visualization.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Interacts with others using sound judgment and a steady professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- BA or BS degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g.: computer science, statistics).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically corporate loan processing, risk, and reporting experience a plus.
- R, Python, Scala, SPSS, Teradata, SAS, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker pluses.
Salary: $111,000 - $120,000 per year ($9,250 - $10,000 per month) - USD
