Role overview
Our client is a large-scale, high-traffic social content platform who is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer will play a pivotal role in accelerating AI-driven moderation for our platform. You'll design, build, and deploy cutting-edge LLM and traditional ML models to automate enforcement of platform rules across diverse content types. This hands-on position offers the chance to shape the future of content safety, collaborating with product engineers on internal tools, rapid prototyping, validation, and production optimization.
Locations: 100% Remote - Ireland, Armenia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama
Contract: 12-18 months contract of FTE
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy LLM and non-LLM based models to solve critical user-facing classifier problems.
- Help internal team with rapid iteration of models that span a wide variety of content types (text/link/images/video).
- Build model testing/validation and other internal tools that help the team execute faster.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of end-to-end experience in training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Proficient in Python and have a solid understanding of software development best practices for rapid development.
- Experience working with Classifier problems.
- Experience in Google Vertex/Gemini LLM and its capabilities.
- Familiarity with image/video processing ML systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data scientists, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Track record of using machine learning to drive key performance indicator (KPI) wins and solve complex, real-world problems.
- Experience working on large B2C applications.
