Job Description
As a Full Stack Engineer at CloudRaft, you'll build and enhance platform features across frontend and backend systems. Deliver reliable, scalable, user-centric products with strong frontend skills and solid backend fundamentals. This role is more inclined towards frontend.
Responsibilities
- Build user-facing applications and interfaces
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application-level services.
- Lead the implementation of frontend features using clean architecture, scalable state management, and strong UX principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and integrate backend APIs and services to support frontend functionality.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, from requirement discussions through to production deployment.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering best practices.
- Practice Test Driven Development and write robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Occasionally work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments as part of full lifecycle feature delivery.
Qualifications
1-3 years of work experience in:
- Writing React code for frontend and Python for backend.
- Strong experience building production web applications with React.js and Next.js.
- Deep expertise in React.js, including state management (e.g., Redux or Zustand) and UI architecture using established patterns and libraries.
- Familiarity with modern styling solutions and component systems like Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, MUI, or equivalents.
- Strong grasp of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainable UI design.
Backend and Systems
- Proven experience developing application-level backend services with Python and/or Node.js.
- Hands-on work with FastAPI or comparable frameworks.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.
- Familiarity with Redis or similar caching/in-memory data stores.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming.
- Basic exposure to real-time communication via WebSockets and SSE.
Engineering Practices - Strong grasp of SOLID principles, clean code, TDD, Git workflows, containerization/CI-CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Familiar with agentic coding tools like Claude Code while maintaining engineering rigor.
