About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer based in Israel to design and maintain the core software powering our robotics ecosystem, from operator dashboards and cloud infrastructure to mobile and desktop applications used directly in the field.
You will play a central role in building reliable, high-performance, user-friendly tools that enable mission planning, fleet monitoring, device management, and seamless communication between the cloud and our robotic systems.
This is a highly cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate closely with robotics engineers & field operations teams, based in San Francisco. The role requires working some of the hours aligned with US (Pacific Time) time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack applications for mission control, fleet coordination, and device management
  • Build and maintain web dashboards using React / Next.js for real-time mission planning and telemetry visualization
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs (Node.js / TypeScript) supporting cloud-connected robotic systems
  • Build and maintain mobile apps (React Native) and desktop applications (Electron) used by operators in the field
  • Integrate AWS services for storage, monitoring, logging, and deployment
  • Implement real-time communication systems (WebSockets, MQTT, or similar) between cloud services and robots
  • Optimize systems for scalability, reliability, and low-latency field performance
  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality
  • Write and maintain documentation for APIs, architecture, and system design

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Solid UI/UX development skills with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Material-UI, or similar)
  • Experience with React Native
  • Hands-on experience with Electron for cross-platform desktop applications
  • Production-level experience with AWS (S3, REST APIs, deployment pipelines, monitoring)
  • Experience implementing async patterns (Promises, async/await, concurrency handling)
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and testing
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator comfortable working across time zones
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive features end-to-end
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interfacing with ROS / robotics systems (strong advantage)
  • Experience building real-time dashboards or telemetry-heavy systems
  • Knowledge of WebSockets, MQTT, or other real-time communication protocols
  • Exposure to IoT, cloud-connected hardware, or industrial systems
  • Familiarity with performance-sensitive or data-heavy applications
  • Docker / containerization experience

Working Model

  • Remote role based in Israel
  • Must be comfortable working primarily in San Francisco (Pacific Time) hours

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge robotics software powering robots deployed on real infrastructure projects
  • Join a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team with meaningful ownership
  • Build production systems that directly impact field operations
