Position: Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Work Location: Remote

Work hours requirements:

• Standard Coverage: Available during US business hours until 1:00 PM ET.
• Extended Coverage: Must be available until 5:00 PM ET when the Engineering Lead is out of office - 3 to 4 (non-consecutive) weeks per year.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can work independently, deliver high-quality solutions, and collaborate effectively across time zones with our US-based teams.

Required Technical Skills:

Core Programming & Frameworks

• Python: Advanced proficiency with modern frameworks (Flask, FAST API) and best practices.
• JavaScript: Strong expertise in ES6+ and modern JavaScript development.
• React: Extensive experience building scalable, performant front-end applications.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• AWS: Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EKS, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Docker: Proficient in containerization and Docker best practices.
• EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service): Experience deploying and managing containerized applications
• RDBMS: Strong knowledge of relational database design, optimization, and management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, and React.
• Build and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and manage deployments on EKS.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Document technical solutions and maintain clear communication with the team.

Working Hours Requirements

• Standard Coverage: Available during US business hours until 1:00 PM ET.
• Extended Coverage: Must be available until 5:00 PM ET when the Engineering Lead is out of office.
• Flexibility to attend critical meetings or handle urgent issues outside standard hours when needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of delivering full-stack applications in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud applications
• Previous experience in financial services or enterprise environments
