Do you want to be part of a team that saves lives? Gaggle has been supporting student safety and well-being for over 20 years. Gaggle works with K-12 schools to prevent bullying, school violence, self-harm, and suicide. We also provide teletherapy, a crisis line, and other services to help schools do whatever they can to prioritize the mental and physical health of their students.
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is excited to help with our mission. You will join a dynamic, full-stack team of developers to build out the customer-facing portion of our student safety platform.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend code to power our customer-facing application
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and others to build powerful features
- Work with engineers across the organization to define and disseminate best practices and improvements to our technology
- Lead the planning and design for the frontend portion of projects that help keep students safe
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working as a front-end or full-stack developer on a team of high-performing engineers
- Strong proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Background building software with a relentless focus on the user
- Experience being the owner of a codebase or component of a software product and comfort working independently
- Experience writing well-tested code that is deployed on a modern CI/CD pipeline
- Experience working on a product-focused team that operates with strong collaboration among engineers with different technical backgrounds and expertise
- Excellent communication skills
Optional Qualifications
- Proficiency in Angular
- Familiarity with AWS and Lambda architecture
- Proficiency with Python or Node
- Experience in a design-adjacent role or comfort in design tools like Figma
- Experience working on small teams in small companies and a “get it done” attitude
