PPickle is hiringSenior Full Stack Engineer
About us
Pickle is a business enablement service. We provide fractional, embedded, human-led support across the functions that quietly keep growing businesses moving. EA and executive support, admin, customer support, operations, bookkeeping, talent placements and HR.
We work alongside founder and operator-led businesses at the moments when they need more capacity, more structure, or more support than they currently have. Our people embed into client businesses and take genuine ownership of the work. No task-ticking, no arm's-length delivery. Just real judgement and follow-through.

About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven technology company building innovative digital products that help people make better financial decisions and create meaningful social impact. Their platform serves a global user base, processing significant transaction volumes through secure, scalable technology.
As they continue to expand internationally, they are investing in modern engineering practices and building high-performing distributed teams to support the next stage of growth.
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and evolving the systems that power the company's products. You'll take ownership of delivering high-quality features end-to-end, working across the stack to solve meaningful, real-world problems.
You'll build the platform foundations and integration layers that support a growing suite of products, designing APIs, event-driven workflows, and shared services that enable multiple applications to scale reliably. You'll work closely with product engineers to define clean contracts between backend systems and frontend experiences, making pragmatic decisions that balance delivery speed with long-term resilience.
You'll join a small, remote-first, product-focused engineering team where you'll have genuine influence over both the technical direction and the products being built.
Key Responsibilities
- Own features from concept through to production across backend and frontend systems, including deployment, reliability and security considerations.
- Break work into clear milestones while proactively communicating progress, dependencies and risks.
- Balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and system quality.
- Improve core product experiences by building scalable, reliable and user-focused solutions.
- Influence architecture decisions across APIs, event-driven systems and shared platform services.
- Design reusable backend services and scalable architecture to support future product growth.
- Champion engineering best practices through clean, well-tested code and thoughtful code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to define practical technical solutions.
- Work autonomously while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
