Core Responsibilities

    • You will be part of a team of engineers developing collaborative autonomy behaviors for large teams of heterogenous autonomous vehicles, across different domains (e.g., surface, air), with different sensor suites (e.g., camera, radar) that work together to accomplish complex mission vignettes. Your team will continuously add capability and demonstrate the solution to customers in real-world scenarios on a variety of HW platforms. Your responsibility will primarily be designing and developing architecture for battle management command and control AI driven decision aids, but you will work with the team to make the entire system successful.
    • Oversee the design and development of advanced defense systems decision aids, specifically supporting next generation battle command and control systems.
    • Transform critical customer insights into advanced battle management solutions, develop rapid prototypes, and work with multidisciplinary teams to launch new capabilities.
    • Convert warfighter tactics, techniques, and procedures into operational workflows, bridging the gap between operational users and systems engineering teams.
    • Design, test, and ultimately implement software within a component-based architecture, including occasionally integrating externally developed software capabilities into the system.
    • Contribute novel engineering ideas, algorithms and concepts for new and existing research and development projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, domain experts, prior DoD warfighters, and program managers to build software solutions for military missions.
    • Collaborate with industry partners to create software solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.
    • Engage in new business opportunities, customer programs, and internal research by developing reference architectures and integrating advanced algorithms and software.
    • Create reusable data models and collaborate across business units to optimize investments and develop modernization roadmaps for command-and-control systems.
    •   Serve as the technical lead for capturing new business opportunities, including orchestrating customer demonstrations, refining requirements, and authoring technical proposals.
    • Develop software solutions that enable smooth transitions from legacy systems to modern, cloud-based architectures aligned with strategic roadmaps.
    • Effectively communicate solutions to a diverse team of engineers, program managers, executives, and sponsors.
