Your Mission 🫵

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Seller Experience team. The Seller Experience team works on all things seller-related. This involves projects ranging from new selling mechanics, shipping integrations, e-commerce integrations, and AI-driven tools. You will work closely with an autonomous squad of engineers, designers, and product owners to rapidly innovate and ship exponential improvements to the seller experience.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, end-to-end, from designing to building, releasing and iterating

• Develop intuitive solutions to interesting problems

• Ensure quality, maintainability, stability and scalability of backend solutions

• Build and ship fast

Requirements 📋

You must be an ambitious, curious, relentless and no ego problem-solver excited to build the future of shopping. Additionally:

• Experienced with developing, running, and deploying highly scalable and available applications and APIs in production

• Strong knowledge of:

  • NodeJS ecosystem such as Typescript, Javascript, NPM, Express and Webpack

  • Relational databases like Postgres

  • AWS ecosystem, specifically ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.

  • Infra as code, such as Terraform and CloudFormation

• Outstanding ability to communicate technical problems

• Ability to work autonomously to deliver results at a rapid pace

• Bonus:

  • Experienced with Javascript based Front-End Technologies such as VueJS and React

  • Experienced with the NestJS framework

  • Experienced with creating APIs using GraphQL

  • Experienced with AWS Typescript CDK

  • Experienced with Document DBs such as MongoDB and DynamoDB

  • Experienced with AWS Data Pipelines such as AWS Glue and SageMaker
