The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be a pivotal member of our engineering team. The candidate will provide consulting services in DevOps, to work with Client teams and drive the DevOps journey. You will be working closely with product managers and developers who like to use lots of interesting technologies to develop core features used across different platforms. A great fit for this role is someone who is always intrigued by new technology and is constantly finding better ways to create highly scalable, reliable services.

Your Team

  • You will be reporting to the Cloud Delivery Head and Technical Leads
  • You will work closely with customers / third party vendors / onshore counterparts to meet the success criteria for projects.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Shall assist the DevOps Team in completing and enhancing the architecture, design, implementation and operation with CI/CD tools and processes, and configuring cloud platforms. 
  • Internal/External applications migration to cloud platforms from legacy environments giving customers flexibility, reliability and performance. Ensure the platform meets best practices and industry standards.
  • Ensure an environment that is scalable, has 24/7 uptime, is secure, automated and process driven, is mission critical and distributed across all applications.
  • Cloud enterprise platforms must deliver improvements in the following areas: a) Ease of use, b) Automation, c) Stability, d) Reusability, e) Performance, f) Scalability, g) Deployment, h) Self-Service, i) Security, j) Administration, k) Support and maintenance.

About You
You are/have:

  • At least 2+ years experience in Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of experience in CI/CD DevOps
  • Shell scripting skills using Bash, Python or Ruby
  • Designing pipelines to perform CI/CD automation across multiple Container Platform clusters simultaneously, running on multiple production and non-production nodes
  • Template-based and project configuration including routing, blue green deployments, pod autoscaling, and both project exports and migration
  • Provisioning tools like Ansible or Puppet or Chef
  • Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years performing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Administration
