The Senior Software Engineer role:

You will join the Visualizations & Authoring team which develops state of the art visualizations and analytics capabilities in Qlik Sense. We work in a SaaS environment with a micro-service architecture, using primarily JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Play a key role in the development of visualizations and analytics capabilities which is an area that is very visible to our customers.
Participate and drive the design and technical solutions to our features.
Come up with your own suggestions to technical and/or feature improvements.
Communicate and collaborate with developers, stakeholders and architects across the global organization.

We’re looking for a someone with:

A genuine interest in software engineering, learning, taking responsibility and initiative.

6+ years of experience from working with JavaScript and preferably React and TypeScript. Bonus points for micro-frontends and GitHub actions.
Working knowledge and experience working in an agile environment, ideally having developed in the cloud, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar).
Previous experience of working with charts and visualizations.

This position is in Lund. You will work in a team with colleagues both onsite and remote. Work-life balance is something we value at Qlik.
